A WARNDON Villages community centre has beenn serving up table tennis games to the local community thanks to a donation from Table Tennis England.
Staff at Lyppard Hub have taken the wraps off the ‘Ping @ the Hub’ group every Monday at the centre on Ankerage Green.
The group is suitable for beginners and open to all and will offer table tennis games and activities in a relaxed environment, offering people the chance to play ping pong and get to know others in their community.
Project leader Hannah Bush, said: “We are delighted to have been awarded this community package by Table Tennis England.
“Table tennis is a great sociable activity for all ages and abilities and we’re excited to offer this fun, friendly new group for the community.”
