Antiques show to host valuation day

A POPULAR BBC antiques programme is set to host a valuation day at Croome.

BBC One’s Flog It, presented by Paul Martin, will visit the National Trust site, near Worcester, on Thursday, May 26, where visitors can bring along up to three antiques or collectibles they might be interested in selling.

Once valued, the owner and a team of experts including Adam Partridge, Natasha Raskin and David Fletcher, will decide whether an item should go forward for auction.

The show, which is in its fifteenth series, will be aired within a year of recording.

Alex Habgood, series location manager said: “Paul Martin and the entire Flog It team are really pleased to be bringing the show back to Worcestershire.

“Croome will provide the perfect setting for our valuation day and our experts are all looking forward to welcoming people along for their free valuations. If you’ve ever wondered how much your boot sale bargains or clutter in the loft might be worth, now is your chance to find out.”

The event will run from 9.30am and 4pm and all the items selected will go under the hammer at Littleton Auctions in Middle Littleton on Thursday, June 16.

Croome’s park and lakeside are open from 10am to 5.30pm and Croome Court is open from 11am to 4.30pm every day.

Call the National Trust site on 01905 371006 or visit www.nationaltrust.org.uk/croome for ore information.
