CROWNGATE chiefs are celebrating after the completion of the £1.5million revamp of the Friary Walk entrance to Angel Place.
The six-month scheme has seen the front of the building updated while the entrance has been modernised with a framed, glazed structure and all-new doors.
New signs have been installed, timber cladding to the Vision Express shopfront has been put in place and the windows to the residential apartments have been replaced.
Centre manager Mike Lloyd said: “Our hope is visitors who haven’t been for a while will be keen to return and that newcomers will be intrigued to see what we have beyond our doors.
“Being in the heart of the city means we have a wealth of opportunity to attract and secure new business and the renovation puts us in very good stead for developing our offering.”
