Aldi set to reveal new look for Bath Road store

Worcester Editorial 27th Mar, 2023   0

A WORCESTER supermarket will re-open its doors to customers with a new look following a week-long revamp.

Aldi’s store on Bath Road will again welcome customers from Friday (March 31) from 8am.

The store has been closed since last Friday (March 24) for the introduction of a new ‘more customer-focused layout’

Its transformation is part of Aldi’s £600million investment into further improving its stores and services across the UK, and is based on feedback from more than 50,000 customers.

The new-look store offers increased space, dedicated to fresh British meat and fish, as well as popular Lacura health and beauty products, award winning beers, wines and spirits, famous Mamia babycare products, and a new and improved Food to Go section, offering a choice of fresh salads, sandwiches and sushi for busy customers.

The store employs 30 members of the local community.

During re-opening week, the store will be offering a range of garden and patio items, including a pressure washer for £119.99, a 10-pack of wooden decking tiles for £19.99 and slate effect planters from £12.99.

Store manager Richard Howard said: “The store is looking fantastic, and we can’t wait to welcome our loyal customers back so they can see it for themselves.

“We’re committed to making sure that the shopping experience each customer enjoys in our stores is on a par with the products and service they’re used to.”
