SUPERMARKET chiefs at Aldi are making the final preparations before taking the wraps off their new-look Tybridge Street store.
Aldi will reveal the revamp when it re-opens to customers tomorrow (Thursday) at 8am.
Standing at 1,417 sqm of retail space, a more customer-focused layout allows for the products to be found more easily.
The transformation is part of Aldi’s £500million investment into further improving its stores and services across the UK, and is based on feedback from more than 50,000 customers. The Project Fresh renovations have been ongoing since 2018.
The store employs 35 members of the local community. The store has a number of safety measures in place, including sanitisation stations on entry, Perspex screens at its tills and social distancing reminders in store, as well as a traffic light system to control the number of people going in and out of the store.
Store manager Elisha Chambers said: “The store is looking fantastic, and we can’t wait to welcome our loyal customers back so they can see it for themselves.”
“We’re committed to making sure the shopping experience each customer enjoys in our stores is on a par with the products and services they’re used to.”
