48 hour dispersal order in Warndon following anti-social behaviour

Worcester Editorial 27th Mar, 2024 Updated: 27th Mar, 2024   0

A 48 hour dispersal order has been issued in Worcester following several reports of anti-social behaviour in the area.

The Section 34 notice at Cranham Parade in Warndon began at 4.42pm today (Wednesday, March 27) and was issued by a Worcester police inspector.

A dispersal order provides police officers with additional powers to exclude people from an area, if they choose to act in an inappropriate way such as committing acts of anti-social behaviour or public nuisance.

West Mercia Police have confirmed two individuals have already been removed from the area by officers following the dispersal order.

Police will also carry out additional patrols in the area to ensure the dispersal order is obeyed.
