A TOTAL of £10,000 in cash was seized by officers during an operation at junction six of the M5, police have revealed.
Officers from West Mercia Police’s Operations Patrol Unit (OPU) made the discovery in a routine traffic stop at the busy Worcester junction on Friday (January 24) evening.
Along with the cash, two people were arrested for money laundering. OPU chiefs said the arrests would cause more disruption to the county lines drug supply.
County Lines activity involves a group from a large urban area travelling to smaller locations to sell drugs and collect cash
