You’ll have a ball at the Swan

Worcester Editorial 3rd Dec, 2016   0

WORCESTER residents are guaranteed to have a ball at this year’s magical Christmas pantomime of Cinderella.

The Worcester Repertory Company will host the sparkling production of one the most popular pantomimes of all time at the Swan Theatre from Monday (December 5) to Sunday, January 8.

Be a part of the magical tale which follows a downtrodden young girl – beautiful both inside and out but imprisoned by her wicked stepmother – who finds salvation in kindness and ultimately, her happy ever after.

Worcestershire’s favourite panto dame Ben Humphrey returns as Ginny the Fairy Godmother, while Lucy-Jane Quinlan makes her Worcester debut as Cinderella, having already starred in numerous pantomimes, musicals, films and theatre across the UK.

Boasting dazzling costumes, stunning sets and the most spectacular song and dance numbers in the fairytale kingdom, Cinderella is the perfect Christmas treat for the whole family.

Gemma Martyn Smith, Swan Theatre’s marketing manager, said: “Cinderella is one of the most magical of fairytales and this year’s production promises all of the glitter, sparkle and magic that you could hope for.

“We have one special surprise up our sleeves that we’re very excited about, but we’re not giving any clues away so you’ll have to come along and see for yourselves!”

The show will run at various times between 10am to 7pm depending on the day and tickets range from £13.50 to £17.95.
