Wraps taken off county mentor scheme

A BUSINESS mentoring support programme run by Worcestershire County Council is open for applications.

Developed in light of Covid-19, the scheme aims to carefully matche local business owners with volunteer mentors who can offer invaluable expertise and guidance.

It’s designed to help the county’s economy recover from the financial effects of the pandemic as part of the county’s Here2Help business programme.

Chris Orr, director of Worcestershire Ambassadors, and previously a mentor on the scheme, said: “The programme has helped me refine my own skills as a mentor, whilst also introducing me to an amazing business that I have been proud to support and see develop since we started this journey together.”

Eligibility criteria applies and the closing date for applications is April 16.
