Tribute celebrate Floyd anniversary

Worcester Editorial 2nd Oct, 2017   0

ONE OF the most acclaimed Pink Floyd tribute bands of all-time are heading to Worcester to showcase their legendary sound live on stage.

With more than 20 years experience recreating the English rock band’s unique sound, Think Floyd will celebrate the 50th anniversary of Pink Floyd’s first release with a show at the Swan Theatre this Saturday.

Established in 1994, the incredibly talented musicians will perform the philosophical lyrics, sonic experimentation, extended compositions and elaborate live experience of one of the most commercially successful and musically influential groups in the history of popular music.

The brand new production for 2017 features The Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here, arguably two the most influential albums of all-time, which will be performed from start to finish along with a whole range of Pink Floyd classics, such as High Hopes, Another Brick In The Wall, Learning To Fly and Shine On You Crazy Diamond.

Think Floyd take enormous pride in recreating all the atmosphere, visual magnitude and musical excellence of Pink Floyd, and their production is backed by a dedicated team of sound and lighting engineers.

The thrilling concert atmosphere is enhanced with an impressive laser light show and together with the sheer energy of the band, it promises to be a first class evening of pure Pink Floyd.

The event starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £21.
