A TRIBUTE to Sweden’s ultimate pop group will be saying Thank You For The Music at Worcester’s Swan Theatre this winter.
‘Waterloo- The Best of ABBA’ promises to be a Super Trouper of a performance on Thursday (January 12) if you Take A Chance.
The chart-topping sensations of the 70s and 80s made their claim to fame in the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest, and their songs have been turning audiences into Dancing Queens ever since with the help of tribute acts like ‘Waterloo’.
The show promises to replicate the superb sound and performance of ABBA, with stunning costumes and breathtaking choreography.
The two-hour spectacle will also deliver some of the sensational lyrics from Benny and Bjorn, who will send the audience back in time with the group’s iconic sing-along songs.
The Stockholm group became one of the most commercially successful acts in the history of pop music from 1974 to 1982, topping the charts worldwide.
They have a joint record of eight consecutive number one albums in the UK and achieved consistent success in other global charts, including Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and the USA.
The event starts at 8pm and tickets cost £19.50.
