Sun sets on 2017 Upton Sunshine Festival

Rob George 28th Aug, 2017

THE SUN has set on a popular county music festival with organisers hailing the eighth annual event as the best ever.

Upton’s Sunshine Festival brought music and fun to the county over the Bank Holiday weekend with an estimated 6,000 people through the gates.

Pop group Atomic Kitten featuring Kerry Katona and boyband Blue were among the headline acts as were Paul Young, Kim Wilde and Sophie Ellis-Bextor

Chart toppers were also joined by local musicians across four stages at the iconic festival which ran from Friday until Sunday.

It was not just the music which kept visitors entertained as wall climbing, water zorbing, crazy golf, bouncy castles and a new circus were all on the menu.

Acts have already been booked for 2018’s festival including Status Quo as one of the headline acts.
