SPENCER James, lead guitarist and vocalist of sixties supergroup The Searchers for more than 30 years, will be making an appearance at John Banner’s annual Christmas Special for the 12th consecutive year, this time without his former band mates.
With The Searchers retiring at the end of March this year, Spencer made his first ever solo theatre appearance at Huntingdon Hall for the popular promoters St George’s Day Concert.
Such was the demand for a return that this show was an obvious choice. After eleven Christmas shows with The Searchers now Spencer and friends – with John Banner himself hosting – notches up his own Twelfth Day of Christmas.
