EVESHAM Arts Centre is set for two nights full of laughter later this month when four top comedians take to the stage,

Comedians Will Mars, Joe Lycett, Stephen Carlin and Tom Binns in the role of Ian D Montfort will perform at the Victoria Avenue to try out their material for their Edinburgh Fringe Festivals shows later this year.

The four funnymen will be testing a hours’ worth of material as audiences get to see two shows in an evening which will brace one of the world’s biggest comedy festivals in August.

Will Mars and Joe Lycett will take to the stage on Saturday, July 19 and Stephen Carlin and Ian D Montfort will showcase their talent the week later on Saturday, July 26. Shows start at 8pm.

As seen on BBC’s ‘Stand up for Comic Relief’ Mars has enjoyed big success in the comedy world and was also shortlisted in DAVE’s Funniest Jokes of the 2012 Fringe festival.

Award-winning sparky stand up Lycett saw his 2012 show get nominated for Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer and has appeared on prime-time shows such as Celebrity Juice, Never Mind the Buzzcocks and 8 out of 10 Cats.

Carlin comes to this year’s festival after successful previous shows which covered gambling, pandas & penguins. What will this year bring?

And Sunderland’s Binns reaps deadpan comedy from the popular pastime of communicating with the deceased.

Tickets cost from £6 and are available by visiting www.eveshamartscentre.co.uk or by calling 01386 446944. Audiences for both shows must be at least 16-years-old.
