Phil brings his Juplicity show

Worcester Editorial 6th Nov, 2018   0

STAND-UP comedian, poet, improviser and TV stalwart Phill Jupitus will be stopping off at Huntingdon Hall for more than an hour of tales, laughs and diversions.

Following his successful tours of Australia and New Zealand, Europe and the Highlands and islands of Scotland in 2017, Phill Jupitus is on the road again this year, with his acclaimed stand-up show, Juplicity.

The experienced funny man drags laughs out of the chaos of his own life and the uncertain world that surrounds it in the show next Friday (November 16) at 7.30pm.

His three decades in the spotlight began in 1984 when he quit working in a Job Centre to become a performance poet, rising to prominence supporting such artists as Billy Bragg, The Style Council and The Housemartins.

Jupitus turned his attention to broadcasting in the 90s with high-profile radio appearances on shows such as The News Quiz as well 18 years as team captain on BBC Two’s pop quiz Never Mind The Buzzcocks.

Tickets are £15 and available through the Worcester Live Box Office on 01905 611427.
