THE MUSIC of John Lennon will be on offer at the Marrs Bar this April as a major tribute show to the British iconic visits Worcester.
Lennon Retrospective aims to take the audience on a journey through John Lennon’s best loved songs, starting with his solo work and culminating in the early Beatles classics.
The two hour, fully-costumed show is brought to life by John Lennon Tribute UK and fronted by Lennon look-and-sound-alike Gaz Keenan.
Gaz featured in the ITV reality show The Big Audition to win through the auditions as the best John Lennon and since the show in October he has put together a band of musicians with many years experience playing theatre venues in leading tribute act.
The band aim to recreate Lennon’s soulful vocals, his rugged and passionate guitar playing, simplistic but beautiful piano work, his look, mannerisms, accent and caustic wit.
Tickets are £8 in advance and £10 on the door for the show on Saturday, April 20 from 8pm to 11.30pm.
