SCOTTISH folk musician John McCusker will perform at Huntingdon Hall this Saturday to celebrate 25 years as a musician.

The accomplished fiddle player, record producer and composer is renowned for his bold contemporary folk style and has been a guest on albums for artists such as Ocean Colour Scene, Paul Weller and Patti Smith.

John has been a member of Mark Knopfler’s band since 2008, playing arenas around the world including a double bill with Bob Dylan at The Hollywood Bowl and 21 nights at the Royal Albert Hall. His expanding portfolio as a producer includes debut albums by Kris Drever and Idlewild’s Roddy Woomble.

He has also manned the controls for top folk chanteuses Eddi Reader, Heidi Talbot, Eliza Carthy and Linda Thompson. In 2013 John performed as a soloist with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra at Proms in the Park, playing his own compositions live on BBC TV.




Now celebrating 25 years as a professional musician, John McCusker has released a new solo record and is embarking on an extensive UK and European tour with The John McCusker Band.

John McCusker Band 25th Anniversary Tour will be at Huntingdon Hall on Saturday, April 30 at 8pm.
