Hollywood Bees ready to buzz into city

Worcester Editorial 30th Oct, 2013 Updated: 19th Oct, 2016   0

THE HOLLYWOOD Bees’ two hour, relaxed and acclaimed tribute show will be making its way to Huntingdon Hall on Friday (November 1) to recapture the distinctive Hollies harmonies of the 60s and 70s.

The Hollywood Bees are a superb and faithful reproduction of the original 60’s legends, and in this spellbinding show they will recreate hits such as Here I Go Again, Just One Look, Bus Stop, Jennifer Eccles, On A Carousel, Carrie Anne, Look Through Any Window, He Ain’t Heavy He’s My Brother and many more that were synonymous with this classic band.

Bringing their own interpretation of those wonderful Hollies hits, powerful, distinctive, catchy melodies with trademark harmonies treated in their own fashion but still holding true to the Hollies original recordings. An amazing nostalgic musical step back into the past!

The members of The Hollywood Bees have learned their craft in a succession of bands and have supported the likes of The Hollies, The Moody Blues and The Searchers; achieving over 15,000 performances over the years.

Band members have performed at some of the country’s top venues including the Glastonbury Festival, Belfast Waterfront Hall, The Royal Festival Hall, Acoustic Festival of Britain plus many theatres and music venues.

They bring their own interpretation of The Hollies greatest hits, along with some of the music that influenced them, to audiences who love the Hollies music.

Tickets for the show, which begins at 8pm, cost £15 and are available from the Box Office on 01905 611427.
