Diamond night with top tribute

Worcester Editorial 15th Jun, 2018   0

WHERE it began, we can’t begin to knowin’… but Jamie Knight is proving himself to be the UK’s best tribute to the legendary Neil Diamond and he’s coming to Worcester’s Huntingdon Hall this June.

With more than 25 years in the music industry and having supported top acts such as Joan Armatrading, M People, Lighthouse Family, Nizlopi, Geno Washington and Wilko Johnson, you are in experienced hands with Jamie Knight.

The Worcestershire based musician has a unique and versatile voice and has experienced everything from singing in the Birmingham Community Gospel Choir to performing at weddings and special functions as a DJ as well as with his Manuka Band.

This time round Jamie is no Solitary Man; he will be supported by his seven-piece Manuka Band. It’s a Beautiful Noise with a full live sound which brings all those truly mega hits to life.

Neil Diamond has had an amazing career spanning more than 50 years and has been richly rewarded for his success.

In 1984 he was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and in 2011 the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Additionally, he received the Sammy Cahn Lifetime Achievement Award in 2000 and in 2011 was an honouree at The Kennedy Center.

Jamie has The Gift of Song and with his America show this High Rolling Man and his live band promise to make a night of music to remember.

Diamond starts at 7.30pm on Saturday, June 30. Call Worcester Live’s Box Office on 01905 611427 or visit www.worcesterlive.co.uk for more information.
