Cloudbusting is top Kate tribute

Worcester Editorial 14th Jan, 2020   0

THE ICONIC music of Kate Bush will be brought to Huntingdon Hall as part of a critically acclaimed show.

Inspired by Bush’s ground-breaking theatrical concerts, Cloudbusting has become the UK’s longest running tribute and has played in front of audiences across the UK.

“There can only be one Kate Bush” said vocalist Mandy Watson, who never attempts to mimic Kate on stage.

“When you sing her music the characters in the songs take over – they are what you become, not Kate. We’re just fans, amazed at this opportunity to perform this music we love so much.”

Many of Kate’s original collaborators have been inspired to join the band on stage, including bass player Del Palmer, drummer Preston Heyman and dancer Stewart Avon Arnold, all of whom performed with Kate on her legendary Tour of Life live shows 40 years ago.

Cloudbusting will perform all the singer’s classics, including Wuthering Heights, This Woman’s Work, Running Up That Hill, Wow, Babooshka, Hounds Of Love, The Man With the Child in His Eyes, Cloudbusting and Army Dreamers on Friday, January 31.
