Celebrating a stunning voice

Worcester Editorial 25th Jul, 2018   0

MUSIC and memories from the legendary Karen Carpenter will be on offer at Huntingdon Hall when ‘The Voice of the Heart’ takes to the stage in Worcester.

It is now just over 30 years since the legendary Karen Carpenter passed away, she left behind an amazing catalogue of hit songs and golden memories and is still played daily on radio stations throughout the UK.

This show celebrates the music of The Carpenters, and the evening aims to lead everyone through a magical memory.

From ‘Yesterday Once More to ‘Close to You’ – the show offers allthe hits that every Carpenters fan adores plus great medleys put together from their many album tracks.

A Carpenters country medley is in great contrast to the sad and perhaps most popular songs on her last and most poignant album Voice Of The Heart.

With vocals from Carole Gordon and outstanding talent from the Blue Jeans Band and Singers, organisers hope it will be a night to remember.

The show kicks off at 7.30pm on Friday, August 17, tickets are £21 and available through the Worcester Live Box Office on 01905 611427.
