A MUSICAL ‘tour-de-force’ is set to sweep through Worcester when Stephen Dale Petit and his band take to the stage at Huntingdon Hall.
American born guitarist, singer and songwriter Petit has vowed to re-establish the blues as a driving force in popular culture and bring about a blues revolution.
Petit’s blues guitar experience started at a young age in California and continued through addiction, alcoholism, homelessness, and subsequent recovery.
He went from being a performer on the London Underground to giving masterclass University lectures on blues music whilst becoming a well-known stage act.
Petit has released five albums, and toured around the United Kingdom and Europe, gaining critical recognition, sizeable sales and widespread radio airplay.
Previous collaborations include Eric Clapton, Ronnie Wood, Mick Taylor, Hubert Sumlin, Dr John, Walter Trout, Hubert Sumlin, Chris Barber, Dave Gilmour and The Black Keys.
Petit will take to the stage at Huntingdon Hall next Thursday (November 22) from 7.30pm.
