WORCESTER City made a winning start to pre-season with a comfortable 3-0 success against Pershore Town.
Goals from Liam Lockett, a trialist and Charlie Lutz saw City cruise to victory against Step Five Pershore at the Community Stadium.
Lockett fired Worcester into the lead on 10 minutes with a cool finish after a trialist played the winger through on goal.
And a trialist then raced clear and rounded the advancing Pershore goalkeeper before finishing into an empty net to double the away side’s lead before the break.
Worcester added a third goal late on as Lutz produced a confident finish when through on goal to complete the scoring.
