Worcester crossing works postponed

PLANNED works to upgrade Windermere Drive zebra crossing in Worcester to a push button crossing have been postponed.

This is due to emergency repair work required by Severn Trent Water following a collapsed sewer on Bilford Road, and the impact that having two sets of major works would have on the local highway network in this area.

The crossing works will be rescheduled once Severn Trent Water has completed its works. A new start date will be confirmed in due course.

Worcestershire County Council and Severn Trent Water apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank residents for their patience and understanding.
