Worcester's Midlands Air Ambulance charity shop celebrates its first birthday

MIDLANDS Air Ambulance charity shop in Worcester has celebrated its first birthday.

The shop, in the Friary Walk Shopping Centre, opened its doors in February 2025.

Over the past year, it has sold pre-loved items, from clothing and accessories to homeware and books, all helping to raise vital funds for the charity’s air ambulance and critical care car missions across Worcester and the wider Midlands region.

Amy Petherick, retail area manager at Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, said: “The local community in Worcester has shown incredible generosity and enthusiasm since the shop opened a year ago. Whether people are donating their pre-loved goods, popping in for a chat, or bagging a bargain, every visit makes a real difference. We’d love for more locals to join our friendly volunteer team and help us make our second year even more successful.”
