PALESTINE solidarity activists have demonstrated outside Barclays Bank on Worcester High Street on Saturday.
The group accused Barclays of bankrolling Israel’s military occupation and apartheid against Palestinians.
They say it invests over £2billion in arms companies supplying Israel with weapons and military technology used in Gaza and military invasions across the West Bank.
Worcester resident Patricia Rawlings said: “I urge every caring person to support the suffering Palestinian population in any way you can – by contacting your MP, joining demonstrations, and refusing to deal with organisations like Barclays Bank.”
Palestine Solidarity Campaign is calling on all people of conscience to boycott Barclays and demand an end to its complicity in Israel’s crimes against Palestinians.
