Worcester Editorial 9th Jan, 2026   0

A MAN has been given a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) which bans him from parts of Worcester city centre for two years.

The CBO was handed to Shaun Skyvington who was found guilty of possessing offensive weapons on multiple occasions between September 20 and November 4 and assaulting a member of the public in September.

When he appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court relating to the incidents, Skyvington was also further ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £114 and cost of £85 for the charge of assault by beating.

Sgt Sarah England from the Worcester City Centre Police Team, said: “We are pleased to get this CBO for Skyvington whose public disorder and violent behaviour have been threatening towards members of the public in the city centre.

“We hope serving this CBO on him shows we will not tolerate violence or threatening behaviour in our city centre and act where appropriate to keep everyone safe from harm.”

She urged anyone who saw Skyvington (pictured) breaching the terms of his CBO to report it online at: westmercia.police.uk/ro/report/ocr/af/how-to-report-a-crime/ or by calling officers on 101.
