THERE will be a small number of changes to Worcester residents’ bin collections over the Christmas and New Year periods.
People whose bins would normally be emptied on Thursdays are being asked to put them out for collection on the following Saturdays – December 27 and January 3.
Bins which would normally be emptied on Friday December 26 should instead be put out for collection on Monday December 29.
All other dates for domestic bin collection will remain the same.
Bins should be placed out by 7am on collection day.
Large cardboard boxes, Christmas cards (except glitter ones) and wrapping paper (excluding foil or glittery paper) should be put in the green bin. Tin foil and tinsel need to go in the black bin.
Extra crews will be working on Saturday December 27, Monday December 29 and Saturday January 3.
Bin collections return to normal from Tuesday January 6.
