OVER 200 advent calendars have been donated to Worcester foodbank.
The big-hearted gesture was made by staff at recruitment firm Pineapple Recruitment.
Kasia Krieger, director at Pineapple Recruitment said: “Through our partnership with Worcester Foodbank we are delighted to be playing our part this Christmas, just as we did last Easter.
“We don’t want any children to go without and everyone at Pineapple Recruitment wants to ensure that parents who are using the foodbank in Worcester this Christmas can easily get hold of an advent calendar or other chocolate treats this year.
“It’s also brilliant as the foodbank offers so many other food products which can help across the festive season.”
Grahame Lucas from Worcester Foodbank added: “The team at Pineapple Recruitment are always hugely supportive of our work and we really value our partnership with them.
“This is the second year they have donated advent calendars as well as donating hundreds of Easter Eggs and tins of food throughout the year. We are very appreciative to Kasia and the whole team at Pineapple Recruitment for thinking of the children and their families once again this Christmas.”
