DINESFEST is returning to a housing estate in Worcester after proving such a success last year.

The festival was staged for the first time in 2024 to mark 70 years of Dines Green and organisers have decided to put it on again.

It will be held at Honeywell Primary School in Tudor Way on Saturday September 27 from 12pm until 4pm. Entry is free and the costs of rides and refreshments will be kept to a minimum, thanks to funding from ward councillors Dr Matt Lamb, Robyn Norfolk and Richard Udall.

There will be live entertainment, bouncy castles, face painting, crafts, a grand tombola and raffle, a football tournament, BBQ and more.

DinesFest’s newly christened mascot Sidney will also be ready to meet everyone.

Committee member Kim Price said: “Sidney is the perfect name as it’s an anagram of Dinesy, the affectionate name for Dines Green.”
