TWO pedestrians were hit and seriously injured by cars in the space of two days in Worcester.
A 27-year-old woman was left fighting for her life after being hit by a car on Deansway on Saturday (June 21).
The car mounted the kerb and collided with her at around 5.20pm.
She was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham with life-threatening injuries.
A 39-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of failing to stop at the scene of an accident, on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and being unfit to drive.

A 47-year-old man sustained life changing injuries after being hit by a car on Britannia Square at around 12.10pm on Friday (June 20).
He was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
A 51-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of driving without due care and attention, driving under the influence of alcohol and failing to stop at the scene of an accident. He is currently in custody.
