Over 200 Easter eggs donated to Worcester Foodbank

OVER 200 Easter eggs have been donated to Worcester foodbank.

Jobs firm Pineapple Recruitment made the generous donation of chocolate treats for youngsters to enjoy over the Easter holidays.

The kind-hearted gesture follows a similar initiative last year when they provided hundreds of chocolate eggs for the Lowesmoor Wharf-based charity.

Kasia Krieger, business manager at Pineapple Recruitment said: “Easter is such a special time for children and a chocolate egg can make a big difference to a child who has to spend the Easter holidays in food poverty.

“We don’t want any kids in Worcester to go without so we wanted to make sure that families using Worcester Foodbank could get hold of Easter eggs for their children again this year.

“The team at the foodbank do an amazing job and help so many people. This is just our way of making a small contribution and hopefully helping more local children to have a wonderful and happy Easter.”

Emma Green operations coordinator at Worcester Foodbank added: “Just like last year, Kasia and the team at Pineapple Recruitment have been so supportive of us. They have really tried hard to donate as many chocolate eggs as possible and we know they will make such a difference to so many children.”
