GOLFERS can enjoy a day of friendly competition on the fairway to raise funds for a Worcester-based hospice.
The St Richard’s Hospice Spring Golf Day is set to take place on Friday April 11, at The Worcestershire Golf Club in Malvern.
Teams of four will play 18 holes under Stableford Rules, with the best two scores counting towards the final tally.
The day’s golfing will be followed by a two-course dinner, a prize giving ceremony, silent auction and raffle.
Ria Simons, corporate fundraising lead at St Richard’s, said: “We’re delighted to be holding our golf day in the beautiful surroundings of The Worcestershire once again.
“The event is always a fun day out with friendly competition. We will award prizes for the first three teams, nearest the pin, longest drive, and a twos competition.
“Funds raised by our golf day events help us continue our free, specialist care to patients and the people important to them.”
