Worcester Editorial 3rd Mar, 2025   0

EMPLOYMENT in science, business, and creative industries take the spotlight at King’s Worcester’s third annual Careers Extravaganza, writes Maya Evans.

Taking place in the school’s historic College Hall today and tomorrow (Monday and Tuesday, March 3 and 4), the event is open to King’s school pupils as well as those from the wider Worcestershire community.

It has been featuring over 50 businesses and professionals ranging from the worlds of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), to business and creative industries.

Careers in business and creative industries take the forefront tomorrow with former pupil Cameron Walker, Royal Correspondent for GB News, making an address.

Hannah Sparrey, head of alumni and business development at King’s Worcester, said: “We hope that by giving pupils access to a wide range of businesses, we can broaden their perspectives on a variety of career options and pathways.”

All Worcestershire pupils and their parents or guardians from Year 6 and upwards are all welcome to attend. Tickets are free, however advance booking is essential.
