Worcester activities worker donates hair to the Little Princess Trust

AN ACTIVITIES leader at a Worcester care home donated her long locks to the The Little Princess Trust charity

The Little Princess Trust provides free real hair wigs to children and young people up to the age of 24, who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or other conditions.

The charity also funds childhood cancer research searching to find kinder and more effective treatments.

Kerrie Perks said she is happier knowing her hair will support a child’s wellbeing.

“I’m glad my hair will be used to do something good.

“Caring is in my nature, and I just want to continue spreading the joy both in and out of our homes.”

Manager Sarah Cadwallader said: “I am so proud of our staff and Kerrie is a shining example in our home, she is always going the extra mile for our residents and making their daily lives shine.”
