TECH-phobic residents across Worcestershire are being offered the chance to improve their skills at their local library.
Worcestershire County Council’s library service is offering a digital skills learning programme called Learn My Way during Get Online Week.
The programme is provided by Good Things Foundation and offers a variety of beginner-friendly courses designed to help people use digital devices, search the internet, and stay safe online. There are also more advanced topics like digital job searching, spending money online, managing health, and working with office programmes.
WCC’s communities spokesperson Coun Karen May said: “Libraries are the gateway to digital services. We are committed to ensuring our local communities have the skills and confidence to access digital information and services safely and open new opportunities for personal and professional growth.”
Courses can be completed using a personal device or on a library computer.
