RAIL SERVICES will be impacted between Gloucester and Cheltenham Spa and Worcester Foregate Street later in October due to improvement works by Great Western Railway.
Services will be impacted between Gloucester and Worcester on various days across the month including October 5, 6, 12, 13, and 20 until 11am on Sunday, October 27.
Replacement buses are planned by GWR between Gloucester and Cheltenham Spa and Worcester Foregate Street.
Trains between Worcestershire Parkway and Great Malvern will also be impacted, with buses replacing these services too.
The impact in Malvern is due to engineering works taking place between Saturday, October 12 and Sunday, October 13. Works will also be taking place on Sunday, October 20.
Network Rail also plans to replace tracks in the Cheltenham, Worcester and Southampton areas which will cause further disruption to the operators services.

Buses are also planned to replace CrossCountry trains between Birmingham New Street and Gloucester, plus between Bromsgrove and Cheltenham Spa.
GWR customer services director, Rachel Geliamassi, said: “This improvement work forms part of an ongoing programme of maintenance, helping to ensure we can continue to provide consistent and reliable services.
“To keep people moving as quickly and efficiently as we can however, while this work is completed buses will replace trains and journey times may be a little longer, so please do check before you travel.”
