TWO NEW associate non-executive directors will join the board of Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust.
Dr Catherine Driscoll has lived in Worcester for more than 30 years and is currently working as a consultant having recently retired as Director of Children’s Services for Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council.
Alex Moran, who lives in Worcestershire and has a number of very close ties to the Trust, has a number of years’ experience working as a senior executive in healthcare both for a successful medical device distributor and for one of the largest NHS Trusts in the UK.
Russell Hardy, chair of Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, said: “Catherine and Alex join us at an exciting and challenging time.
“I have no doubt that the wide-ranging skills, knowledge, experience and commitment to public service they bring will make an invaluable contribution to helping us build on that progress for the benefit of our patients, our staff and our partners across the Foundation Group and in the local health and care system.
“As well as a continuing focus on the quality, safety and efficiency of the care we provide, they will have a key role to play in helping us ensure that our services are planned, developed and delivered in a way which best meets the needs and wishes of everyone in the diverse communities we serve, and every colleague in the diverse workforce that we employ.”
