A WORCESTERSHIRE regional care home manager has completed the three peak challenge for charity.
The regional manager for Sanctuary Care Home has conquered the challenge, raising £2,056 for Shelter and the Alzheimer’s Society.
Stacey Meredith, 46, climbed Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon, facing extreme weather conditions.
Stacey and her team embarked on 13 hours and 40 minutes of hiking, covering 462 driving miles, with the challenge completed in 25 hours and 30 minutes.
She said: “I am beyond proud to have been able to take on this challenge in aid of such incredible charities. Having worked at Sanctuary Care with residents who have Alzheimer’s, this is a charity that is close to my heart.
“And Shelter is the charity that our Senior Operations Team has chosen for our annual challenge, which takes place in September this year.
“I would like to thank all the support, kind words and donations, in particular our amazing colleagues in the Worcestershire region who have been behind me all the way, offering words of encouragement along with the time and effort they have spent fundraising for our charities.”
