Nunnery Ward polling station has changed

Holly Clement 28th Jun, 2024   0

THE POLLING station for the Nunnery ward in Worcester for the General Election has changed.

It only applies for around 800 voters who were originally supposed to vote at the Communal Room in Lincoln Green.

They now are due to vote at the Ronkswood Hub in Canterbury Road.

Worcester City Council is writing to all the affected voters to make them aware of the change in polling venue.

There will also be signs at the Communal Room on election day, directing people to the Ronkswood Hub, which is only around four minutes’ walk away.

Shane Flynn, returning officer for Worcester, said: “We would like to apologise to the small number of voters affected by this change of polling station, which has happened due to circumstances outside of the City Council’s control.

“If anyone is unsure about the change or needs more information then they should feel free to contact the Elections Team on 01905 722530 or [email protected].”
