Worcester Wolves Women travel for huge Semi-Final clash

WORCESTER Wolves women will be playing in the Semi-Final of the WNBL2 Play-Offs tomorrow following a clutch win over East London Phoenix.

The Wolves led for most of the game and saw off a late charge from the Phoenix to secure a 72-71 victory at the University of Worcester Arena on Sunday afternoon.

Carolina Marques top-scored for the Wolves with 38 points followed by Shona Williams who hit 12 points for her side.

The team will now travel to London tomorrow (Saturday) where they will face the WNBL2, Pool 2 League Champions Cobham Cobra.

The game will tip off 2.30pm at the ACS International School Cobham.

A win will see the Wolves head to the Play-Off Finals in Manchester on Saturday, April 27.
