REMINDER- Strike action to disrupt Worcester rail passengers tomorrow

Worcester Editorial 4th Apr, 2024   0

STRIKE action is set to see more disruption for rail passengers in Worcester and Malvern over the coming days.

Members of the train driver union ASLEF have announced their intention to stage strike action.

This means there will be no West Midlands Railway services operating tomorrow (Friday).

An overtime ban will also take place by ASLEF union members on Saturday.

On these dates, there will be fewer services operating on the Birmingham New Street to Hereford route, which also stops at Bromsgrove, Droitwich Spa, Worcester Foregate Street, Malvern Link and Great Malvern stations.

Services will also be subject to short-notice cancellation.
