Man stabbed with umbrella at Worcester Foregate Street

POLICE have appealed for witnesses after a man was repeatedly stabbed in the face with an umbrella at Worcester Foregate Street.

The incident took place at around 4.30pm on Thursday, January 11 at when the victim was attacked in the subway of the railway station.

Another man used the pole of an umbrella handle to stab at the victim’s face several times before he eventually managed to get away.

The suspect is described as white and aged between 30 and 40 years old.

He was wearing a black baseball cap, a black jacket with white insignia on the cheek, black jogging bottoms and black trainers.

He was also carrying a large black rucksack and a yellow shopping bag.
