WORCESTER Cathedral is inviting budding young singers to ‘Be a Chorister for an Afternoon’.
It’s all happening on Sunday, March 17 from 1.30pm to 5pm and open to any young person who loves to sing.
Open to all children from school Year 2, the session aims to introduce youngsters and their families to the opportunities available at the cathedral.
Participants can enjoy an afternoon of singing and musical games with the cathedral’s music team, meet the current choristers and even have the opportunity to perform with Worcester Cathedral Choir at Evensong.
Booking is essential – simply Samuel Hudson, the director of music, by email at: [email protected] to secure a space.
Parents are asked to remain at the cathedral throughout the event, for an opportunity to visit the King’s School and to learn more about choristerships at Worcester Cathedral.
