WORCESTERSHIRE-based global creative communications group DRPG is among the latest names to partner in this summer’s city penguin parade.
The Hartlebury-based company will also act as an official supplier to the great St Richard’s Hospice Waddle of Worcester.
A DRPG penguin sculpture will be brought to life by an artist’s design and auctioned at the end of the project.
Applications have now closed for artists to showcase their work on the latest animal visitors to the Faithful City.

Dale Parmenter, CEO of DRPG, said:
“Worcester’s art trails are fantastic events for the county and for a really brilliant cause, so we are very proud to be playing a part once again.
“We look forward to contributing to what is sure to be another unforgettable summer and something for us all to look forward to.”
A small specialist independent school and county fostering company are also joining the Waddle of Worcester.
Abigail’s Place and Pyramid Care are sponsoring one of the eighty sculptures which will brighten city streets and public spaces.
Sally Yafai, proprietor of Abigail’s Place, said:
“As a small school supporting children who have experienced early childhood trauma, loss and/or attachment disruption, we know first-hand how important it is to find the right support for loved ones that’s tailored to each individual.
“We loved the elephant trail in 2021 and bought one of the sculptures at auction to welcome our students to school.
“Standing proudly by our entrance on Spetchley Road, we know many local residents like to give our ele-friend a wave each day too.”
Gaudet Luce Golf Club and Phoenix Childcare have teamed up to sponsor a penguin for the Waddle of Worcester.

Alec Fernihough, director of Gaudet Luce Golf Club, said:
“We’ve loved Worcester’s past art trails, particularly how they bring people of all ages together.
“That cross-generational appeal strikes a chord with us.
“We’re really excited to be sponsoring a penguin and the children in our nursery can’t wait to cuddle up to the happy huddle out on the trail.”
The great Waddle of Worcester builds on two hugely successful hospice-run trails in 2018 and 2021 which raised £700,000 combined.
