A WORCESTER burger venue has been shortlisted for a major national award.
Burger Shop has been named as a finalist at the National Burger Awards and will find out if they’ve won on February 20 at Big Penny Social in London.
The Worcester City Centre venue has been named as a finalist for its Double Bacon Cheeseburger.
The 16 shortlisted finalists will now compete in a cook-off consisting of three rounds.
Burgers will be cooked across the rounds- the first their own creation and the second a technical challenge made up of a specific selection of ingredients supplied on the day.
This year, finalists will also take part in a Plant-Based Round.
Burger Shop, which also has a venue in Hereford, was also a national Burger Awards finalist in 2022.
