Lucky escape for woman and two children as car crashes in Worcester and ends up on its side

Worcester Editorial 2nd Oct, 2023   0

A WOMAN and her two children had a lucky escape when a car crashed and ended up on its side around 8.20am in Waverley Street, Worcester, this morning.

Two crews from Worcester Fire Station attended and cut the woman free from the vehicle as she was trapped.

When the emergency services arrived, they found the car on its side in the middle of the road.

The woman was released by firefighters before being treated by West Midlands Ambulance paramedics for minor injuries.

Two boys were already out of the car when medics arrived and, when assessed, did not appear to have any injuries.

As a precaution all three were taken to the Worcestershire Royal Hospital.

The road was blocked in both directions following the crash and while the emergency services dealt with the scene.
