Stay active with a free gym session

Worcester Editorial 3rd Jul, 2023   0

A WEEK of free access to all Freedom Leisure Worcestershire centres with additional support from local health services will be on offer next week.

Active Workforce Week is a collaboration campaign supported by Active Herefordshire and Worcestershire, Citizens Advice and Worcester Primary Care Network.

Adele Hodges, healthy communities manager for Freedom Leisure, has recognised the importance of health and well-being for a productive workforce.

“It is widely known physical activity can positively impact mental health, confidence, stress relief and much more,” she said.

“We at Freedom Leisure believe this paired with well-being practices, trusted resources and access to your healthy lifestyle services, will help increase productivity, improve sleep and build sustainable, positive, lifelong healthy habits.”

The Freedom Leisure Worcestershire team will open the doors from Monday (July 3) to Sunday (July 9) to the local workforce community to try all of its facilities for free, including gym, classes, walking sports, racket sports and swimming.
