WORCESTERSHIRE accountancy firm Ballards LLP has collaborated with Four Squared Recruitment to embark on a series of fund-raising ideas to support Worcester Foodbank.
The joint efforts of the teams from Ballards LLP and Four Squared Recruitment have resulted in already raising more than £1,000 thus far through various events held throughout the year.
One of the standout events in their fund-raising campaign was the recent Worcester half marathon.
Members from both Ballards LLP and Four Squared Recruitment embraced the sunny conditions and donned their running shoes to conquer the challenging 13-mile course.
Reflecting on the experience, Matthew Clarke, marketing manager at Ballards LLP said “I was keen to be involved in the fund-raising but wanted to make sure it was a challenge and after 13 miles my legs would tell you it was.
“I am glad we were able to support such a great cause, and, in a way, that was the real motivation that spurred me on mile after mile.”
