THE EMERGENCY services worked together to rescue several people after a car crashed down an embankment in the Malvern Hills.

The vehicle was found 20 metres down the steep slope on Saturday morning.

Crews from Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue service were joined by medics from West Midlands Ambulance Service and its Hazardous Area Response Team and West Mercia Police officers.

Miraculously, there were no injuries.

HWFRS Group Commander Ade Farmer praised all the emergency services for ‘some great team working’.

His thoughts were echoed by Malvern Police who tweeted: “Excellent partnership working with clear communication and decision making key to ensuring the recovery and the safety of all involved.”
